In a celebration of academic achievement, a noteworthy 47.17% of candidates successfully cleared the recent Public Engineering License Examination, administered by the Nepal Engineering Council. Out of a total of 5,821 examinees, a commendable 2,746 individuals secured victory, marking a significant leap in pass rates compared to previous years.
This licensing examination, held for the third time, witnessed a positive trend with an encouraging surge in success rates. Shedding light on the results, Registrar Shivamangal Giri shared, “The improvement in outcomes reflects a heightened understanding that success is not achieved without hard work.”
Breaking down the statistics, the first iteration of the examination saw a 28% success rate, followed by a 34% success rate in the second. However, this recent achievement underscores a substantial leap forward, embodying the tenacity and dedication of aspiring engineers.
Nepal Engineering Council suspended the results of 15 candidates pending further investigation. The examination, conducted from the 22nd to the 28th of Mangsir, unfolded at the Pulchowk Engineering Campus, Institute of Engineering, attracting participants from various engineering institutions.
This success not only marks a personal triumph for the candidates but also contributes to the overall progress of the engineering sector in Nepal.
