Educationpatra, Kathmandu. At the time of admission of students in class 11, the All Revolutionary and Socialist Student Union has announced a program of protest in Kathmandu with three demands.
Recently, All Revolutionary and Socialist Students’ Union has announced the program of the movement presenting three major demands. This was announced through a joint statement issued by the union on Monday.
Earlier, in a meeting between the two student organizations on Saturday, it was agreed to cooperate on education issues. After the meeting, Upadesh Yadav, the spokesperson of Akhil Krantikari, explained about the program of the movement.
The association has demanded that the report of the Higher Education Commission should be made public immediately, the Federal Education Act should be issued and the academic calendar should be implemented in universities.
The program of the movement has been fixed in a joint statement issued by Akhil Krantikari coordinator Pawan Karki and Samajwadi Vidyarthi Union president Netra Chapagai. A nationwide signature drive will be held on June 26, followed by a peaceful demonstration on June 27. Also, an important interaction program has been organized on June 31.
Spokesman Upadesh Yadav said that both organizations have agreed to work constructively. They claimed to bring reforms in the education sector.
However, the stakeholders claim that when the revolutionary and socialist student union announces the program of the movement when the students arrive in class 11, it is sure to hinder the student admission process.
